Day 120 – Cruise (PP)

Standard

Yay, finally a drop in the scales. Just the boost I needed to get my chin up ready for the new week. 77.9 today, so 6.9kg till my final goal. Unfortunately I missed my mini goal deadline of 77kg, but I will try to achieve it as quick as I can.

I am being much stricter with what I eat, and I am slowly getting back into the ‘no carb cravings’ zone, which is a happy place to be 🙂

Today is the 31st of October in Australia…so that means the modest beginnings of Halloween Trick or Treaters trickling through the streets. Whilst Halloween is not something that has really been celebrated in Australia, shops are taking it on board selling cheap costumes and plastic fangs. I personally haven’t given lollies out to the handful of groups that have knocked on our door. I would doubt that many of the kids would even know what it is really about…me too for that matter! Do you celebrate Halloween? Please enlighten me, what is it all really about?

Breakfast: 2 Eggs and 2 Egg Whites Scrambled with 1/2 slice Kraft ‘Free’ Cheese

Late Lunch: Sliced Turkey, Chicken Breast & Pastrami and 1 skinless Chicken Drumstick

Snack: Yoplait ForMe Caramel Tart Yoghurt… very fancy individual ones…slightly higher in carbs than the others but oh so tasty

Dinner: Couple of tiny pieces of Beef Jerky (not very hungry)

Drinks: About 1.5L Water, 600mL Coke Zero, Chai Tea…yummy!

Exercise: Nothing today

Day 119 – Cruise (PP)

I went up 100g to 78.8 this morning, which is a little disappointing after a strict PP day, but hopefully things will start to move again soon.

Breakfast: 2 Eggs & 2 Egg Whites scrambled with Garlic Powder and Onion Powder

Snack: Yoplait ForMe Fruit Yoghurt

Lunch: Steak with Seeded Mustard

Snack: 2/3 cup Bonox (Hot Beefy/Vegemitey drink)

Snack: 3 Double D Sugar Free Lollies

Dinner: 1 1/2 small Chicken Breast Fillets (they did have a thin coating of a flour based batter…it wasn’t too much though)

Drinks: Approx 1.5L Water and I don’t know how much Coke Zero (that means…way to much 😛 )

Exercise: Nothing today

I went to the movies tonight to see Paranormal Activity 2 (not by choice)….it was soooo scary!!! I was curled up in a little ball in the cinema seat by the end and hardly even watched the screen!! I made Brad tell me what was happening so I didn’t have to watch!! ^o^

Later on…Before I went to bed I weighed myself again and I was back to 78.4, so it looks like things are already starting to move 🙂

An epic fail week of following the Dukan Diet, and unfortunately that even a last ditch 2 day effort was not enough to save me. I went up 0.1 after yesterday 😦 and an over all 0.4 this week.

I have decided to stick to redo attack for a few days, not sure how many yet, until my body has gotten rid of all of the junk I’ve eaten and is back in the swing of things.

Day 118 – Cruise (PP)

Still 78.7 this morning, so no loss after 1 good Dukan Day.

It was World Teachers’ Day (apparently somebody appreciates us). When I got to the staff room there was the biggest cake from our Assistant Principal I have ever seen about 1 metre by half a metre. I didn’t eat any, it’s only cake after all. People were marvelling at my self control while I just ate my weird meatloaf.

I had the worst afternoon today. I don’t want to get into it because I can’t be bothered wasting time thinking about it anymore (*insert rude word* parent and extremely rude students). I could have eaten a plate of cake and drank a bottle of wine, but I did neither. We went to our friends birthday party at night and it was really nice to take my mind off things and chat to really nice people. So at least my day finished on a sweeter note.

Breakfast: Tub Yoplait Fuit Yoghurt

Snack: Left Over Asian Style Meatloaf

Lunch: Left Over Asian Style Meatloaf

Dinner: Sliced Chicken Breast

Drinks: LOTS of Water and a couple of glasses of Coke Zero

Exercise: About half an hour of dancing on the Wii

Day 117 – Cruise (PP)

Still 78.7 today, which is better than a gain!

Right back on track today. Dukan all the way.

Right before recess today, when I was starving, I got handed 2 freshly made vanilla cupcakes with melted chocolate on top (made by some of my students who go to an ESL group – totally food safe trustworthy ones too!). I ooohd and aaaahd and said thank you and brought them home for Brad to eat. Are you proud? I am 😀

Breakfast: Oat Bran Porridge

Snack: Chicken Breast & Yoplait ForMe Berry Yoghurt

Lunch: Turkey Breast with Gherkin Cottage Cheese

Snack: Onion and Chive Cottage Cheese (oops…whole thing!)

Dinner: Asian inspired Pork, Veal and Tofu meatloaf. Read: Mixed up everything I had to make a Dukan Friendly Dinner. No blowing it for me tonight! (still in the oven, can’t wait for it to come out!)

Snack: Skinny Cow Mint Choc Chip Icecream

Drinks: 2L Water & a bit too much Coke Zero

Exercise: 30 minute Walk while dinner was in the oven! Go Me! (sorry, but I’m happy to be on track)

Day 116 – Cruise (PV)

After my first two exams, and sadly 3 non-dukan dinners in a row, I am back up to 78.7 on the scales.

I really need to get organised and my head sorted. I started by coming home and cleaning my kitchen today….the whole empty out the draws and wipe out kinda clean…when I really should have been either writing reports for work/teaching or doing homework for night school (very confusing!)

My husband is right when he says our house will never be as clean as it is in the month leading up to when reports are due (twice a year). I redefine procrastination!

So here’s what I ate today…

Breakfast: Oat Bran Porridge

Snack: Yoplait ForMe fruit Yoghurt, Turkey Breast & Cottage Cheese

Lunch: Pork Mince Bolognese & 1 tbsp Cream Cheese, tiny amount of Green Salad

Snack: 2 Double D Sugar Free Lollies

Dinner: Taco Bills (not saying anything further…:( )

Drinks: Approx 2L Water & some Coke Zero

Exercise: Short walk here and there

I gotta start eating good dinners!!!
