Day 122 – Cruise (PV)

Standard

Still 77.9 today, so I didn’t gain anything after all the carbs (quiet…phew!)

It was a public holiday today so I was at home for most of the time. We slept in VERY late too! Much more than I have in a long time…must have been tired, I’m not sure.

I had a grazing day today, eating only Dukan friendly foods. And for dinner I made delicious Meatballs in Tomato Sauce (all from scratch!) Isn’t it wonderful to have time to do things.

Here’s what I ate (at no particular meal time):

Diet Jelly
Beef Jerky
2 Double D Sugar Free Lollies
Skinny Cow Ice Cream
1 piece sliced Chicken Breast
Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

Drinks: About 2L Water & 2 glasses Coke Zero

Exercise: 10 minute Walk on Mum’s treadmill 🙂

Day 118 – Cruise (PP)

Still 78.7 this morning, so no loss after 1 good Dukan Day.

It was World Teachers’ Day (apparently somebody appreciates us). When I got to the staff room there was the biggest cake from our Assistant Principal I have ever seen about 1 metre by half a metre. I didn’t eat any, it’s only cake after all. People were marvelling at my self control while I just ate my weird meatloaf.

I had the worst afternoon today. I don’t want to get into it because I can’t be bothered wasting time thinking about it anymore (*insert rude word* parent and extremely rude students). I could have eaten a plate of cake and drank a bottle of wine, but I did neither. We went to our friends birthday party at night and it was really nice to take my mind off things and chat to really nice people. So at least my day finished on a sweeter note.

Breakfast: Tub Yoplait Fuit Yoghurt

Snack: Left Over Asian Style Meatloaf

Lunch: Left Over Asian Style Meatloaf

Dinner: Sliced Chicken Breast

Drinks: LOTS of Water and a couple of glasses of Coke Zero

Exercise: About half an hour of dancing on the Wii

Day 117 – Cruise (PP)

Still 78.7 today, which is better than a gain!

Right back on track today. Dukan all the way.

Right before recess today, when I was starving, I got handed 2 freshly made vanilla cupcakes with melted chocolate on top (made by some of my students who go to an ESL group – totally food safe trustworthy ones too!). I ooohd and aaaahd and said thank you and brought them home for Brad to eat. Are you proud? I am 😀

Breakfast: Oat Bran Porridge

Snack: Chicken Breast & Yoplait ForMe Berry Yoghurt

Lunch: Turkey Breast with Gherkin Cottage Cheese

Snack: Onion and Chive Cottage Cheese (oops…whole thing!)

Dinner: Asian inspired Pork, Veal and Tofu meatloaf. Read: Mixed up everything I had to make a Dukan Friendly Dinner. No blowing it for me tonight! (still in the oven, can’t wait for it to come out!)

Snack: Skinny Cow Mint Choc Chip Icecream

Drinks: 2L Water & a bit too much Coke Zero

Exercise: 30 minute Walk while dinner was in the oven! Go Me! (sorry, but I’m happy to be on track)

Day 109 – Cruise (PV)

Back down to 79.3 today…I’m happy it’s down, but Im getting a bit over the up and down-ness of the scales.

Right now with having so much on my plate my eating and diet is not on the top of my list of priorities, lpmisslp is right in her comment, it’s hard to juggle work, school, home, diet 😦
Unfortunately tonight I got home late and I just wanted to eat, and of course if you want something for convenience…it will not be Dukan friendly. I had grilled fish and chips….my first since starting Dukan 😦 It made me feel so satisfied though (I’m a bit ashamed to say)….I’m not really a model Dukaneer at the moment 😦 I hope tomorrow’s weigh in is not too dramatic!

Breakfast: Oat Bran Porridge

Second Breakfast: Very low fat flavoured milk (still too high in carbs-sugar though)

Snack: Sliced Chicken Breast and Onion & Chive Cottage Cheese

Lunch: Leafy Green Salad with a small amount Chicken Breast

Dinner: Grilled Salmon and some Chips

Snack: Chocolate ^o^

Drinks: Approx 1.5L Water & 2 cans Coke Zero

Exercise: Nothing

Day 87 – Cruise (PP)

Still 82.8kg today, I think I’m in the middle of a plateau, hmmm. What to do to kick things up a notch?? I can think of a few things:

* Drink more water
* Less Coke Zero
* Remember to eat my oat bran
* Less tolerated foods
* EXERCISE!

Can you think of anything more??

Today I ate:

Breakfast: 2 Eggs with 3 small slices Bacon

Snack: Yoplait ForMe Banana & Honey Yoghurt

Snack: Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sundae

Lunch: 2 small slices Smoked Trout with 2 tbsp Philly Cream Cheese

Snack: 1 Babybel Light

Dinner: 4 grilled Chicken Tenders from Aporto

Snack: Jarrah Chocolatte Hot Chocolate

Drinks: Far too much Coke Zero and not enough Water!

In other exciting news…my Dukan Recipe Book arrived today! Can’t wait to read it and try some new things!

Day 75 – Cruise (PP)

Still the same on the scales this morning, that’s fine, especially after a PV day and I didn’t get any exercise in 😛

Thank goodness I was not as hungry today as I was yesterday. That was ridiculous! Back to the oh-so-filling protein.

At lunch time the kids had a sausage sizzle at school, and I ate 1 sausage. The ladies said to have a ‘slightly more cooked’ (read: overdone) sausage as it would have less fat. Hmmm, when I finished it there was an oily residue on my hands, yukko! Lo and behold, 3 hours later I had small stomach cramps and had to go to the toilet. Oil + Lauren = Unhappy Partnership. It’s nice to know my body can now clearly tell me what it does not want. Note to stomach: I will not eat another regular sausage again, thank you!

Fun time for me…Goal Setting! My next mini goal will be to weigh 81kg by October 6th….4 weeks to lose 4 kilos. I chose this number, because when I have achieved it I will only have 10kg to lose until my goal weight. Things are going so well at the moment, they feel a bit surreal….I’m enjoying the ride 🙂

Breakfast: 1/2 Tub Fancy Passionfruit Yoghurt (a touch high in fats/carbs etc. but I had to finish it)

Snack: Tub Nestle ForMe Berry Yoghurt with 2 tbsp Oat Bran

Lunch: 1 sausage, 4 Lemon and Thyme Chicken lovely legs

Dinner: Some roast chicken from the supermarket

Snack: Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sundae

Drinks: 2L Water & Can of Coke Zero

Exercise: Lightish 45 minute PT session with Kel 🙂

Day 73 – Cruise (PP)

Well, still 85.3 on the scales, I could see them soo want to drop to 84.something, but at the last minute they flicked back up to 85.3. Yesterday was a PV day and I didn’t go for a walk, so fingers crossed for tomorrow 🙂

There was another special morning tea at work today! Instead of running away from all of the treats I plonked myself down at the table and ate my chicken breast (which was not as yummy as last time), I felt like challenging myself to be around everything and not want it. My mini goal, of which I am supposed to reach in 2 days! is very motivating.

Breakfast: Nestle ForMe Yoghurt with 2 tbsp Oat Bran

Snack: 140g Diced Chicken Breast

Lunch: Half a dozen Kilpatrick Oysters, but I only at 3 Oysters and all of the bacon

Dinner: Lemon and Thyme Slow Cooker Chicken

Snack: Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sundae (snuck one into the movies 🙂 )

Drinks: 2L Water, Pepsi Max

Exercise: edit: Nothing today, we went to the movies instead, so quite the opposite of exercise 😦
